Home Care

If you are unable to purchase, prepare or cook a meal, the Emerald Care Services will assist you in making alternative arrangements and if required a homecare worker can be allocated to assist in the reheating.

Home care is designed to support you with day-to-day personal and domestic tasks so that you can live as independently as possible in your own home.

Home carers can help with feeding /eating and drinking, washing and bathing, dressing and undressing, going to bed and getting up, going to the toilet, and prompting you to take your medication. They can also help with domestic tasks, such as preparing meals, laundry, ironing and shopping.

You can also get help with social activities, such as going to the cinema, or have someone with you so that you can get out and about.

If you need significant regular help with personal care and practical tasks, Emerald Care Services may be able to arrange for a home carer to visit you – Please call us on 020 7326 1253 for further advice.

If you fund your care from your own resources or receive assistance in the form of a Direct Payment, Individual Budget (IB) or Self Directed Support (SDS) we can help you. Also we can provide you with information regarding companies that deal with matters relating to funding your care.

Please call us on 020 7326 1253 for a free advice.

All our care workers will have either already attained or be in the process of attaining an QCF (former NVQ) in Health and Social Care.
